December is here! Probably my favorite month of the year other than my birthday month. This month’s theme was “carpe p.m.” So festive and fun! I absolutely LOVE the bag this month! It’s my favorite one up until this point! It’s pink with faux fur and the inside is gold. How adorable! This month, I received 5 samples, like every month, and 3 of them are full size so that’s great! Let’s get on into the products…
Jersey Shore Cosmetics Moisture Rich Hydrating Balm $10 – I received a chapstick from this brand (I think it was the same one, just a different flavor) back in my May Glam Bag and I remember loving it! I used it up pretty quickly but I did enjoy it while it lasted! This month, I got the scent/flavor “peppermint.” I love lip products that smell like peppermint! This one is just as great as the last and I’ll probably use it until it runs out!
Ofra Cosmetics Bliss Eyeshadow/Highlighter $12 – I love this baby! I’ve tried it as an eye shadow and a highlighter and I love it both ways! As a highlighter I think it’s the perfect golden-champagne shade to highlight my skin tone or darker. I think if you have fair-light skin, this would work better as a blush topper but might be too dark for highlight. As far as using this for eye shadow, I like it for all over the lid or for a subtle inner corner highlight! And it looks even better if you spray your brush before applying it!
Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint $20 – I love all of Tarte’s products, but their lip formulas are amazing! I received this glossy lip paint in the shade “WCW.” It’s a dark berry tone that’s perfect for the holidays! It is a gloss, so it isn’t 100% opaque but I think it still looks great! This product will definitely bleed outside of your lip line, though, so I strongly recommend using a lip liner underneath!
MAKE Beauty Moonlight Primer $55 – If you want an expensive primer, here it is! This baby retails for $55!! FOR A PRIMER! That’s insane! Obviously, they didn’t send me the full size but the sample I got has .13 oz in it. I’ve never heard of this brand before so I went to the site to check it out It turns out that this primer is supposed to protect your skin from harmful, artificial light such as light from your phone, tablet, computer, etc. It claims to mattify, moisturize, and prime, all while protecting your skin from HEV and IR light, as well as urban air pollution! That’s crazy!
Royal & Langnickel MODA Angle Shader Brush – I couldn’t find the exact brush on the website but I know it’s part of the MODA Collection so I linked that collection. I did find another angled shader brush on their site but it’s not the same one so I didn’t bother adding it. I received a brush from IPSY before from this same collection from this brand and I use it every day! I love their brushes! They’re very soft and even the handle is a soft matte, almost velvety finish that just feels so comfortable in your hand! This brush works really well for me to contour my nose with! I haven’t used it for eye shadow yet because I haven’t found a specific use for it but I have been using it a lot on my nose!
