I’m not sure if its because we have our first little heading off to school this year or trying to wrap things up before one last vacation, but this end of Summer time around our house has been nothing short of nutty. I mean its Summer right? Supposed to be filled with lazy mornings and long evenings. Not at our house. Both the husband and I have been running a million miles per minute here there and everywhere.
Leading us both right into a much needed vacation. 
This past week we walked away from the craziness of work and headed out with our family to Table Rock Lake in Missouri for a week long vacation. Gave us all some time to just sit, unplug, relax and spend some quality time with my family.
All 9 of us were all in one cabin, at the most beautiful resort set in the trees. A lot different then the surf and sand where we live. We were all able to get each of our own version of a lazy morning. For some it was sleeping in. For others it was a morning canoe ride. Mine consisted of sitting on this beautiful porch surrounded by trees and drinking my delicious cup of coffee and breathing in the fresh air.
Birds and frogs and all kinds of beautiful sounds serenading my morning. Pretty incredible.
Even the creamer bottle was beautiful! Design star David Bromstad partnered with Coffee-mate and Target in making a limited edition bottle designs inspired by coffee and Coffee-mate.
Inspiration is exactly what it gave me each morning. It calmed my insides and gave me time to unplug and reflect our life right now. Yes, it is busy, but good busy. We’re working hard, so that we can have times like this with our family that we will remember forever.

While our vacation was nothing short of incredible, it reminded me to not get so caught up in the daily grind and that sitting for even a few minutes unplugged helps re-inspire the insides.
