Recipe of the Week: Mini Chocolate Pies
Recipe is super easy: You can make your favorite pie crust or the dough out of the freezer, but we used the Betty Crocker pie crust mix and ended up only making half the box. Super easy and taste great! We mixed it up, rolled it out to 1/2 centimeter or so think, and used a 3.5 circle cutout.
Then you stuffed them in your muffin tin and bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees.
While the pie crusts are baking, grab the cutest 3 year old helper to mix up the pie pudding. We are a chocolate house, so we opted for the non-fat, sugar-free pudding.
Hold onto to your chocolate chips!
Once the pies are done, lay them out on a cooling rack and pour in the pudding. Top with your favorite crunch. We went with chocolate chips!
Once they are decorated, off to the fridge for allotted time for the pudding to set!
They are pretty and the individual sizes limit the calories. Recipe = Approximately 150 Calories
Enjoy!
