Start by printing out the Free Draing of a Gingerbread Man Step-by-Step Instructions at the bottom of the post. Follow along with a sheet of paper and pencil. Grab a few gingerbread cookies for a delicious treat while you draw!

Star with a simple curved line making an arch for the top of the head.

Next, is to draw simple arms. The basic shape of the arms are rounded curved lines off each side under the head.

Coming off the arms continue into the body, and then down at a slight diagonal line back out and then draw a curved line for the gingerbread feet and then back up for the middle of the leg.

Next, draw similar lines from the previous step, but for the other side of the gingerbread body.

For the gingerbread face, draw small circles for the eyes and a simple smile.

This is where we are making a gingerbread man as opposed to a gingerbread girl. For a gingerbread girl, simply add a skirt to the waste of the gingerbread. Since we are making a gingerbread man, add a bow tie and gumdrop buttons (two small circles) below the bowtie.

Last, we're adding the white icing detail to each of the arms and legs for some added festive flair. Once you have your drawing how you like it, erase any extra pencil lines. Then viola, you have a gingerbread drawing.

The final step is to color in your Gingerbread Man Drawing using your favorite coloring tools - crayons, colored pencils, markers, or even paints.
