  • Start by drawing a cloud-like snake head. Draw an oval shape and then a curved curved line with two small curves at the top of the head shapes.
A playing card featuring the number 1 in the top left corner and a simple blue outline of a snake-like, cloud shape in the center.
  • The next step is to draw a looped curved line off the bottom of the snake head down and to the right.
A minimalistic line drawing on a playing card resembles a stylized cats face and tail, similar to learning how to draw a snake with smooth, simple curves. The top left corner of the card displays the number 2.
  • Next, draw a small slightly curved line off the bottom of the head on the right side of the snake body and down to right after the loop from the last step.
A playing card with the number 3 in the top left corner. The card features an abstract line drawing of a mushroom shape, with a simple black outline and a blue border highlighting the top part.
  • Draw an oval at the bottom of the snake body to create a coil.
A simple line drawing of a snake coiled with its head raised, centered on a card with the number 4 in the top left corner.
  • Draw a small curved tail off the left of the bottom coil of the snake's body. Start as wide as the rest of the snake's body and then make it thinner to the point.

  • Draw two oval shapes for the eyes in the middle of the snake's head.
Simple drawing of a snake with a coiled body and two large blue eyes, enclosed within a card labeled with a number six in the top left corner. The snake has a friendly, cartoon-like appearance.
  • Draw a small rainbow-like curved line under the two eyes. Then draw two small circles under that line as nose holes.
Minimalist illustration of a snake with a coiled body and a large head, displaying a sad expression with two tear shapes below its eyes. A number 7 is in the top left corner, resembling a playing card layout.
  • Lastly, draw a small line under the nose and add a tongue out the bottom of the small line. The tip of the tongue is an inverted point making it look like a tag.
Illustration of a playing card featuring the number 8 in the top left corner and a simple drawing of a coiled snake with a blue forked tongue in the center. The card has a plain border.
  • Once you have the snake drawing looking the way you want, erase all the extra lines. Outline the lines you're keeping with a dark pencil or black marker. Viola, you have the cutest snake drawing!
