Start by printing out the free Ice Cream Drawing Step-by-Step Guide at the bottom of the post. Follow along with a sheet of paper and pencil.

The first step is to draw a slightly curved horizontal tube shape.

Next, draw a slightly curved line on top of the tube shape from one end to the other.

We're drawing a waffle cone and/or a sugar cone. An easy way to the that is to draw a triangle under the oval shape with the point pointing down.

Next, start by drawing diagonal lines across the cone. Then draw other diagonal lines in the opposite direction creating small squares along the outside of the cone.

The next step is time to draw a scoop of ice cream on top of the cone. Draw a simple round arch over the top of the cone with small U shapes across the top of the cone.

The last step is to outline your cute ice cream cone drawing with a black marker and color it in. Color your ice cream based on the different flavors.
