Start by printing out the acorn template at the bottom of the post. Cut out each of the template pieces.
Using a pencil, trace the acorn bottoms on the light brown piece of construction paper three times.
Trace the acorn cap three times on the darker brown paper as well as the full acorn outline.
Cut out each of the pieces.
Glue the acorns tops to the three acorn bodies.
Once the are glued, fold the three acorns in half long ways.
Glue the back side of the right half of one acorn to the back side of the left half of another acorn. Glue the third acorn onto the second acorn the same way.
Next, grab the full acorn outline and use that as the base. Glue the back of acorn one to the front of the base acorn and the back of acorn three to the other side of the base acorn.
Should be taking shape as a 3D paper acorn.
Cut a small rectangle piece out of the dark brown paper scraps.
Glue to the back of the acorn at the top.
Viola, you have a cute paper acorn!
