The first step in drawing the pineapple body is a vertical oval shape.

The next step in the drawing process is the pattern of the pineapple skin. I recommend drawing long oval shapes and making a crisis cross pattern.

The next step is to draw the leaves of your pineapple. The top leaves are drawn with curved lines that come to a point around the top part of the pineapple.

The last step is to draw small details into the crown leaves and the pattern on the skin.

The final step is to clean up any extra light lines. Once you have your drawing where you want it, we like to go over the lines with a hard pencil line and outline the pineapple with a thin black marker.
