Start with a simple oval shape. This is the reindeer's head.
The next step is to draw straight lines from the bottom of the reindeer's head creating a long neck.

Draw a sideways U from the short line of the neck around to the bottom of the belly. We are drawing the reindeer from a side angle.

Now add an eye and the reindeer’s nose. This certainly can be a red nose reindeer.

Draw a loop off the end of the head. Add another smaller leaf shape as the inside of the reindeer's ear. Draw a second ear on the top of the head. Add a small line under the head on the chest as the mane.

Next, we're adding legs to the forward-facing side of the reindeer. Add both a front leg and a hind leg as well as a hoove. Also, add a small tail.

Add the other two legs to the back of the body as well as the hooves.

The last piece is to draw triangles as Christmas trees on the back of the reindeer. This makes for a fun landscape drawing.

We find that the best way to finish up any drawing is to erase any pencil lines overlapping. Then using a black marker outline the drawing with black lines.

Once you have it how you want it, color in your reindeer and landscape. Have fun with it!!
