  • Grab your garden rocks or beach rocks and clean them if needed.

  • Paint the rocks a solid color. There is really no need to paint all the way around the rock as it is going to be on the ground. But does not hurt if the entire rock is painted.

  • Next using the black paint, you are going to paint one tip of the rock.

  • This will be the head of the ladybug, so should only cover one-four to one-third of the rock.

  • Next you will continue with the black paint and paint one stripe down the middle of the rock from the head to the tail.

  • Next you will paint your ladybug spots.

  • Let the black paint dry.

  • Using the white paint, paint on two white spots in the middle of your black head.

  • Once the white has dried, you can add a small black dot inside it to make the eyes. If your paint brush is too big, you can always use the other end of the paint brush to add a dot.
