- Plastic Star Bracelets
- Brown Yarn
- White Yarn
- White Glue
- Fishing Line optional
Start with the brown yarn. Simply tie a knot in the corner of the star.
Then start to wrap the yarn around the bracelet making sure the yarn is taut. If you have an end piece from the knot, make sure to place it along with the bracelet and cover it with the yarn.
Cover the entire star with the brown yarn. Tie the end in a knot and then cut the end of the yarn as close to the star as possible. I then use a dot of white glue to seal the end in place. You could also use a hot glue gun and add a dot of the hot glue. It is your preference.
The next step is to wrap the white yarn. We started it at the middle curve of the star and tied the knot the same way we started with the brown yarn. Wrap the white yarn around until you hit the other side of the star as where you started. Tie off the end and secure it with the dot of glue too.
In order to hand it, we used a piece of fishing line. Using a simple piece of yarn works just as well. Cut a piece of your yarn or fishing line approximately 3 to 4 inches. Tie the two ends together in a knot. Wrap the loop around the top part of the ornament and place the knot through the loop you created with the fishing line and it will create a knot.
