Strawberry Painted Rock

These strawberry painted rocks are a fun camping crafts or great for kids all year long. Grab some paints and a rock and you are on your way!

Equipment

  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Hot Glue Sticks

Ingredients

  • 1-2 ” round rock
  • Red acrylic paint
  • Green acrylic paint
  • Black acrylic paint
  • White acrylic paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Magnet
  • Mod Podge optional

Instructions

  • Start by having your children hunt for some rocks and clean them. Then set them up with the paint colors on a paper plate and then they are ready to get started.

  • Paint the entire rock red (tip: place a bit of putty on the back of the rock to stick it to your craft surface while painting).

  • Paint the top of the rock with green leaves. Then paint black and white seeds all over the rock.

  • Seal with a coat of Mod Podge (optional).

  • Allow to completely dry. If you are looking to make it a magnet, then glue the magnet to the back of the rock using your hot glue gun.
