Begin by hot gluing fall leaves to one side of the planter. This will be the back of the turkey as the leaves will be its "feathers". Depending on the size of the leaves, you may need to trim them.

Hot glue googly eyes to the front.

Cut out a triangle and wattle shape from yellow and red foam sheets and hot glue to the front as well.

Fill the planter with mini treats like M&Ms, Reese's pieces, or Candy Corn. If given as a gift idea, you can put the treats into a cello bag or small clear baggies or cellophane bag to keep them fresh.
