    Learn how to make a Mini Planter Turkey treat holder for Thanksgiving! It's a cute and easy DIY to use for treats for a friend or family member. Add printable tags or gift tags to turn them into a proper gift!

    They are also a great idea as a place setting for the Thanksgiving dinner table. Your dinner guests can enjoy their yummy treats and keep the adorable little turkey planter to reuse how they wish. It's fun, festive, and really easy to make!

    Easy Thanksgiving Turkey Treats

    Wow, your friends and family with this adorable Thanksgiving craft. Make these mini turkeys to give as gifts or use them as place cards for the holiday. They'd make the perfect little treats for teachers, co-workers, neighbors, and friends.

    The best part is people can eat the treats inside and then reuse the planter. I'd totally use it for a little plant!

    Materials Needed For DIY Thanksgiving Party Favor

    • Mini planter/pot
    • Faux Fall leaves
    • Googly eyes
    • Foam sheets
    • Hot glue
    • Scissors
    • Mini treats

    How to Make Thanksgiving Party Favors

    1. Begin by hot gluing fall leaves to one side of the planter. This will be the back of the turkey as the leaves will be its "feathers". Depending on the size of the leaves, you may need to trim them.
    2. Hot glue googly eyes to the front.
    3. Cut out a triangle and wattle shape from yellow and red foam sheets and hot glue to the front as well.
    4. Fill the planter with mini treats like M&Ms, Reese's pieces, or Candy Corn. If given as a gift idea, you can put the treats into a cello bag or small clear baggies or cellophane bag to keep them fresh.

    That's it! You're ready to give as gifts or use on your Thanksgiving table.

    Fill your turkey treat bags with candy corn

    Thanksgiving Favors To Make

    Easily turn these into place cards by hot gluing a mini clothespin to the back of the leaves and clipping the place card on there. These are great for the place settings and make for fun Thanksgiving party favors.

    Replace the candies with another delicious treat. It can also be filled with tiny rocks, sand, tissue paper, and any filler you have on hand. Add a craft stick inside and hot glue the place card to it.
