Start by printing out the plane craft template at the bottom of the post. Cut out each of the pieces of the template as a stencil.
Trace the body of the airplane onto a piece of colored paper and cut out. We chose red.
Trace out the two sets of wings onto another color of construction paper and cut them out. We chose blue for our airplane wings.
Trace the cockpit window and two rectangle windows out of another color of craft paper. Cut each of the pieces out. We chose yellow for our airplane window color.
Glue the windows to the airplane body.
Cut two slices out of the airplane longways. One for the larger wings and a smaller one for the smaller rear wings.
Slide the wings through the slits in the paper airplane craft. *If this is too complicated for your little crafter, you can always cut the wings in half and have them glue them to the outside of the airplane.
The last step is to glue the wooden sticks to the back of the paper airplanes.
Viola, you have your own airplane!
