The first thing is to print out the letter e template on white construction paper. Cut out each of the pieces.

Next, using the gray paint, paint the E, the ear, the trunk, and the two feet shape.

Once they have dried, Glue the ear, trunk, and feet to the dark navy or black paper.

Cut around each piece allowing a small amount of the darker color to show.

Glue the ear to the back of the E giving it a floppy ear look. Next, glue the elephant's trunk to the end of the top line of the E. Then glue the elephant's feet to each of the other two lines of the capital E.

Next, glue the white circle from the template to the middle of the top of the E between the trunk and ear.

The last step is to glue the googly eye on top of the white circle.
