Start by tracing your hands and draw two spatula shapes on some cardstock or good paper . The spatulas are straight at the top, and then curve down almost like a shovel with a handle.

Cut them out and then trace hands on different color construction paper.

Next, take your piece of black paper and fold it in half. Draw an arch off the folded edge and then cut it out. It will make an oval or circular shape.

Fold white piece of paper in half, as we did the previous step and draw another arch slightly smaller than the black.

Using the glue or double sided tape, glue the white oval inside the black oval with them both folding the same direction.

With the left over black paper from the cut oval, cut out two strips which will serve as the grill legs.

With the grill in the center and the folded end at the top, its time to glue on the other pieces. Glue the two black strips to the back of the grill coming out the bottom. Then glue the two hands to the back of the grill coming out the top. Lastly, glue the two spatulas to the front of the folded grill and the handles hanging slightly off the corners.

Using a black marker, draw three straight lines on the front of the spatula to make it look like high quality embellishments.

The last step is add your own message to your Dad Card. Whether its HAPPY Father's Day or how much he means to you, from the heart is always the perfect way to fill your Dad heart. There is also lots of room in there if you wanted to add a picture to make it a photo card.
