Father's Day Toolbox Craft Card

Make Father's Day extra special with a Tool Box Craft! Get creative with paper and scissors, to create a personalized gift. Great for kids of all ages!

Instructions

  • Print out the template for tools (Grab your free printable template below). Cut each of the tools out.

  • Trace each of the toolbox pieces onto different construction paper colors.

  • Glue the parts of the screwdriver together and the parts of the hammer together.

  • Cut a heart out of the red paper.

  • Cut a rectangle piece of paper out of yellow paper and draw on numbers and lines to create a ruler.

  • Next, you're going to make the base of your card and the toolbox shape. We went with a brown piece of paper and fold it in half. If you are simply making this a craft, cut the half piece of paper out.

  • Next, cut out a rectangular piece of paper for the front of the card. This is going to act as a pocket, so when gluing it to the front of the card, make sure to only glue the sides and the bottom.

  • Make sure that your tools all slip into your pocket but yet are still able to be seen.

  • The last step is to add "Dad" to the front and make the dashed line around the bottom to mimic a pocket. Then add a special message to Dad on the inside of the card and or things you love about him on the back side of each tool.
