Start by printing out the kangaroo template at the bottom of the page. Cut out each of the piece from the template.
Trace your two smaller triangle pieces on the yellow paper and the rest of the pieces on orange paper.
Cut out each of the pieces from the colored paper.
Glue the small yellow triangle shapes inside the larger orange triangle shapes to create the ears. Glue the ears to the top of the kangaroo's head.
Assemble the kangaroo's body but gluing the head to the top of the back part of the K. Then glue the arms slightly below the head and then the tail off the back of the K slightly further down.
Next, cut out a thin craft stick size strip of yellow paper.
Glue it to the front of the kangaroo's body right below the arms. Cut off any excess from the bottom of the K.
Next, cut out two small circles for the kangaroo's eyes out of the scrap paper from the template pieces.
Using the black marker, draw in the eyes. We like to fill up as much of the circles as we can.
Glue the eyes to the kangaroo's face and then with the black marker add a small dot for the kangaroo's nose.
