L is for Lion Craft

Make things easier by using the printable template of a lion at the bottom of this post.
Cut out each of the template piece and then trace onto each of the different colored construction paper. If you want to create the craft as we did, trace the smaller circle and smaller L on lighter yellow paper and the bigger on the darker yellow.
by gluing the smaller L onto the larger L as well as the smaller circle on the larger circle. Glue the circles into the orange lion's mane and then glue the lion's head to the top of the L.
Cut out four small circles for the lion's ears. The bigger of the two in the dark yellow and the smaller in the light yellow.
Glue the ears to the top of the lion's head.
Last, cut out each of the lion's face template out of black paper. Draw on the eyes with a marker. Glue each of the pieces to the lion's face.
