Toilet Paper Roll Ladybug Craft

Have some ladybug fun with this sweet toilet paper ladybug craft for preschoolers. Only a few supplies and a free ladybug template.

  • Toilet Paper Roll
  • Printable Template download below
  • Colorful Craft Papers
  • Pencil
  • Glue
  • Googly Eyes
  • Plastic Wire or colored paper fasteners

Instructions

  • Start with downloading the ladybug template (below). Print and cut out each of the pieces of the

  • Wrap the toilet paper roll with the black rectangular craft paper.

  • Cut out the ladybug’s wings (elytra). Cut wire approximately an inch long, and bend it into a U shape.

  • Overlap the top of each wing (elytra).

  • Poke a hole in the top using the plastic black wire. Join the two wings together.

  • Glue the black spots on the ladybug’s wings.

  • Poke a hole in the middle part of the toilet paper roll.

  • Put the plastic wire through the hole and separate the ends affixing to the inside.

  • Using the glue, adhere the antennas on top of the toilet paper roll on the inside of the ladybug.

  • Glue two google eyes on the ladybug.
