I heard the most amazing advice this week! It's not about the quantity of time you spend with your child it's the quality!!! I can't tell you how much that has affected me. As a working mom, I constantly struggle with the worry of not being home with Syd but also the struggle to provide for the family. After hearing that, it made me realize that being fully engaged with her for 4 hours of the day is better than spending 8 doing God knows what. Starting today, I've tasked myself with waking up early get my chores done and be ready for when she wakes up. At the end of the day, the cell phone off, no distractions! It's amazing the look in your child's eyes and all you see is love!
