Oh my gosh you guys, we are back to school. It is official, I have two kids in a school at more than not in school each week. P.S. The other two knuckleheads are my nephews and indulged me as I try every year to mark all their growth. Made with HAPPY Girl is off to 1st Grade and can I tell you, this little love has me all kinds of proud. She was off to the big playground this year and making new friends and doing it all with kindness and grace. Can't wait to see all the wonderful she is going to have this year.Then there is this **gulp**. Yes, it was time he started a more structured school. But oh my heart. My little baby took his first week like a champ. He was excited for a backpack and a lunchbox. He was excited to meet new friends and was soooo ready. It was Mom that was not ready. NOPE! Daddy had to pull me out of the class to let him go. I got in the car and Made with HAPPY Dad let me cry. Armed with all the right things to say to sooth my heart. Oh my heart. These little ones getting big does a doozey on me. I want them to grow and learn, but man I'd be lying if I didn't say a big part of me wants to keep them home with me forever.
