Today my boy has officially been outside my belly as long as he was inside! ***Sigh***
My son is seriously one of the most chillaxed (chill and relaxed) babies I've ever seen. His days as of late are full of giggles, rolling, almost crawling (so close), reaching, grabbing, eating, and sleeping. We had a big month of firsts. This month he had his first time to Kansas to visit his Nana and Grandpa. There he rode his first golf cart (of many). He met a few of Daddy's college friends. He visited Daddy's college Alma mater (KU). This tripped marked the first time he and Mommy had been away from each other. I'm sure it was harder on Mama then it was on him =) This month he had his first taste of pizza and tortilla. He had his first bath with Sister. Daddy had his first Father's Day this month with the sweet boy. This month although not his first time to the beach, was the first time he got to dig in the sand and put his feet in the water. Brrr. He had his first trip to the Fair this past month and enjoyed looking at all the rides and lights and even got to see his first rock concert (Neon Nation - 80's cover band). Last but not least, yesterday marks the official day of saying his first word! "Mama" - melt my heart!
To make certain I remember his growth, I'll be taking pictures in the numbered onsies each month for the first 12 months.
