The first step is to print the stocking template for a basic stocking. You can use any paper your printer will take but if you want it to be sturdier use card stock. Then use the white crayon to draw any design or shapes on the stocking. Some ideas to draw include any type of pattern, a candy cane, a Christmas tree, Santa Claus, or your name!

The last step is to paint the stocking using watercolors.

Use any color you like or use them all. The beauty of this craft is it's completely customizable and kids can really make it their own.

It is optional to cut the stockings out. It is totally up to you if you want to add a piece of ribbon or strip of paper to the top of the stocking as a hanging loop. Simply glue the ends of the paper or ribbon to the back side of the stocking.
