Select 3 to 4 different colors of construction paper or card stock to make these paper dinosaurs. Trace the dinosaur shape body on colored craft paper and trace the two separate leg patterns on a darker shade of the same colored craft paper. Trace the scales and spots on colored craft papers of your choice. Cut out all the different pieces that you have traced. You can cut out the eye pattern directly from the template.

Glue the scale cutout along the top curved side of the dinosaur body piece.

Using the glue stick, glue the separate leg cutouts behind each of the leg parts attached to the body of the dinosaur.

Glue the spots to the dinosaur's back.

Lastly, glue the eye to the head of the dinosaur. A googly eye works great too. Then using the black marker, draw the mouth.
