Gather your materials and cover your workspace.

Encourage your child to rip the orange construction paper into small pieces. Let them have fun with it!

Cover the center of paper plate with a generous amount of glue and have your child start adding the ripped paper pieces.

Continue previous step and layering the ripped papers until you're satisfied with the thickness of the "pie".

Cut small strips out of the brown construction paper.

Let your child glue it over the edges of the plate. This is the top crust of the "pie".

Use scissors to cut off the excess of the brown paper around the edge of the plate.

Finish off by gluing a couple cotton balls to the middle of the top as the "whipped cream"!

Set aside to dry completely.
