Scratch Off Easter Egg Paper Craft

This scratch off Easter Egg paper craft is a fabulous Easter craft for kids. Requires only a few supplies to have their creativity run wild!

  • Draw a large oval egg shape on the white cardstock with a sharpie marker. If you have a child that is nervous to start with sharpie, they certainly can start with a pencil and then copy over the pencil with sharpie.
    1. Draw a large oval egg shape on the white cardstock with a sharpie marker. Color the inside of the egg in straight or diagonal lines in varying colors. Make sure to color the entire inside of the egg very well, and not leave any part of it uncolored.
  • Color the inside of the egg in straight or diagonal lines in varying colors. The more variant in color, the more fun the scratch off designs will look once they are created.
    2. Once the egg is colored, begin coloring on top of the bright colored egg with a black crayon. You may need to make two layers to make sure the egg is completely covered.
  • Make sure to color the entire inside of the egg very well, and not leave any part of it uncolored.

  • You can draw lines, stars, circles or any shape. Just have fun, and make the design all your own.

  • Once your design is complete, cut it out with scissors.

  • Glue your egg to the other piece of cardstock.

  • Grab your sharpie and write something on your cardstock.

  • Turning this sweet scratch off egg craft into an Easter card is easy with a simple saying. You can write a cute saying at the top such as “Happy Easter!”, “Have an Egg-cellent Day!”, or “Egg-cited for Easter!”.
