My family is enjoying healthy HAPPY snacks as part of a sponsored series with GoGo squeeZ and Socialstars. #GoGosqueeZSquad

We all know that holiday travel can get hectic and then adding another layer like heading to the snow (for those of us that don't live in it 🙁 ) can get overwhelming as parents. While I understand the anxiety, the last thing we would want is for you to get too worried about it and not go.

We love to travel and have so much fun as a family in the snow, that I thought we'd share a few of our helpful tips when heading out this winter on a family trip.Tips for Snow Travel with Kids | Winter Travel with kids in the snow. 1. Packing for a trip. In addition to the snow gear, there are always three things that I have forgotten for the kids (and myself for that matter) when heading up to the snow.
      1. Extra socks! After an hour or two in the snow, there is a good chance those socks are going to be wet. Either from the snow or from the big sweaty boots they are in. In any case, you aren't relying on them drying before the next use and ensures they have something to wear around the cabin in the evenings and mornings. Bring lots of extra pairs in the case, you won't be sorry.
      2. Bring snacks in the cars and or airplane. This my friends is so key to any travel success. Hungry kids = grumpy, whining no fun for anyone travel. Bringing some nutritious goodness on the go that they can munch on helps a ton. Plus when you have something nutritious, like a GoGo squeeZ that is 100% all natural fruit, your kids are of course healthier but aren't suffering from the ups and downs of a sugar high.
      3. Packing comfy clothes as well as snow gear. I don't know why, but I'm always focused on making sure I have the bibs, boots, jackets, etc. That I tend to forget that all the times we're not on the slopes, sleading, or snowball fighting we're either inside or heading into town for a meal. Remember some cozy (non-waterproof/insulated) type clothes for all the times they are by the fire in the cabin hanging out.Tips for Snow Travel with Kids | Winter Travel with kids in the snow. 2. Once you're in the snow,  and getting ready for a day on the slopes or heading out to a snowball fight, try and pack a few snacks in your kids pockets! I can't tell you how many times we've been out finding the best sledding spot and one of the kids hungry and starts to meltdown and then you're time is cut short. Most all snow gear has great pockets and plenty of spaces to tuck them up in there!
    3. Have fun and share the HAPPINESS of the snow. Just some of our favorite HAPPY snow activities (and not limited to): Snowmen, Snowball Fights, Sledding, Skiing, and Snow Angels! And they all start with S. Who knew 🙂

    HAPPY SNOW TRAVELS!
