This Spring Break was quite the whirlwind for my family. We spent the first part of our two week break traveling and then decided that home sweet home was how we would spend the second half and what fun we had staying home. I'm not going to lie, those that know us, know that we are on-the-go family, but what I realized this Spring Break is that sometimes we all just need some down time to play at home, watch our cousin play baseball, and play at the park.
So that is what we did. Spring Break at home. We slept in, we hung at home, we walked and spend our afternoons at the park. Just what the doctor ordered! We literally spent every afternoon either at the ball field or the park. What I found was super helpful was to throw a few snacks into the backpack along with a small sheet and then we're off. Nothing more defeating than being all proud of yourself for getting everyone dressed, pottied, and out the door to the park and 15 minutes in, one of them says they are hungry and you don't have a thing with you. DOH! Been there done that! Throw in some yummy scrumptious GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ. GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ are awesome for this since they don't need to be refrigerated. Then you can spend as much time out of the house playing and snacking and not worrying about hungry tummies.
What is your family's favorite stay at home activities?
Ours are climbing trees, slaying dragons, swimming, card games and warming our toes in the sun. 🙂

We hope your Spring Break was full of all kinds of fun and family too.

    HAPPY SPRING BREAK!!!
