Bacon Wrapped Dates
Ingredients:

Dates
- 12 Pitted Dates (I prefer Medjool)
- ½ Pound Chorizo
- Garlic & Herb Goat Cheese
- 6 Piece of Peppered Bacon - cut in half
Glaze
- ½ Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Milk
Directions:
Pre-Heat oven to 400 degrees. Slice the dates in half.
In a small bowl whisk together the powdered sugar and milk and set aside.

Spoon into the sliced date approximately a teaspoon of goat cheese. In a small skillet, cook up the chorizo. Add a small amount of chorizo to the date and press together together.
Wrap the bacon around the date and using a toothpick, to hold together.
Place on baking sheet and into the oven. Roast for approximately 15-20 minutes until the bacon is golden and crispy. Brush on the glaze to each of the dates and then back into the oven for 1-2 minutes until they are ooey gooey yumminess. Transfer to serving dish.
They are decedent, delicious and can be made in a jiffy! Holiday Recipes Made Easy!
