Happy Monday! Oh what a weekend. My sweet baby turned 2. I can’t hardly believe it!
I don’t know about you, but it would seem this Monday came way too fast. To ease you into the hustle and bustle of the week, I thought I’d share with you a fun easy way to spruce up your morning breakfast.
Egg in a heart hole
So you may be reading this right now and think, DUH, my family’s been doing this for years. Or you are like me and never thought about putting the two together. So freaking simple
You take your favorite bread and using a heart cookie cutter, you cut out the middle of the bread.
With a little butter on the griddle, you lay down your bread to start to get it toasty.
Then you crack the egg right in the bread. I KNOW… so freaking easy. You cook your egg the same way you would normally and wait for the white to be firm. Flip if you’re into over easy or over medium, and there you have it my friends.
My kids LOVE it and always brings a smile to their face!
