For our son’s daycare Christmas party, I always like to make fun and easy Christmas treats for the kids. So this year, I of course turned to Pinterest and then let the 3-year-old decide what we would make this year for he and his friends to share. These Rudolph and Snowman donuts are so easy and so fun, and to top it off, they’re adorable.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Donuts
- Peanut M&Ms-reindeer nose
- Candy Corn- snowman nose
- Pretzel Twists- antlers
- Mini Chocolate Chips-snowman eyes & smiles
- Frosting- reindeer eyes, & to assemble snowman eyes & smiles
Of course I used this fun project to double as a learning exercise. I had him work on his colors by sorting the Red and Green M&Ms, and also practice his counting, by counting out 10 Candy Corns
Assembly was super fast and easy- he actually did most of it. I just helped with making the eyes and smiles. They didn't turn out perfect, but I can tell you that this little kid was excited to show them off today.
If you’re looking for a treat for the kids at your Christmas party, give these a try…. They are definitely little hands approved!
