How to Make a Fun and Festive Paper Plate Gingerbread Craft
Begin by painting a paper plate with brown acrylic paint. Let the paint dry completely. *You could also use a brown party plate.
Once the paint is completely dry, use a single-hole punch to punch holes all around the edge of the plate.
Cut a long strand of white yarn. Tape the beginning of the yarn to the back of the paper plate.
Now, begin lacing the yarn through the holes. For this one, we went over and under.
Continue lacing until complete. Then, tape the final end of the yarn to the back of the paper plate.
You can also lace your gingerbread man by going around the outer edge with the yarn.
Next, punch two 1” circles of black cardstock and two 1” circles of pink cardstock.
Glue the black circles in place for the eyes. Use a white chalk marker to make a simple smile for the gingerbread man.
Finally, glue the two pink circles in place for cheeks at the ends of the smile to complete this super fun gingerbread man craft!
Viola, you have the cutest gingerbread crafts.
