Christmas Tree Facts
The tradition of erecting a tree in your home during the holidays comes from Germany where the evergreens were generally small and lit with candles. At first, many Americans felt the idea was strange (and dangerous? Flames in a tree…yikes!).
But a century later, Americans had fully embraced Christmas trees as a definitive symbol of the holiday. Today nearly 77 million Christmas trees are planted across all 50 states! (Thanks for the history lesson, History Channel.)
It’s no wonder ornaments are aplenty. While buying ornaments to decorate trees is easy, we happen to think DIY ornaments will bring much more HAPPY to your holiday. And these super cute printable Christmas ornaments couldn’t be easier and so much fun!
How Lovely Are Your Branches?
These Christmas tree crafts for kids can be printed and colored as you would a coloring page, then folded into 3D ornaments. Or, for a bit more bling, break out the glitter glue, sequins, and ribbons! Our paper ornaments will dress up your tree and keep the kids entertained.
We’ve got a ton of designs to choose from that will look merry and bright next to candy canes, garlands, and twinkling lights. You could even create a 3 D Christmas Tree Card to add some real holiday cheer to someone's mailbox.

There’s no wrong way to decorate a tree
Our favorite part about decorating Christmas trees is that the only wrong way to do it is to not do it at all. Even Charlie Brown’s tree became a thing of beauty!
So bust out the markers, colored pencils, and glue and get going. Our printable Christmas ornaments are sure to make your tree dazzle and get the kids (even more) excited for Santa!
