Making a paper ugly sweater is so much fun and a fun Christmas craft. Kids love decorating their own ugly sweater and making it whatever style they like. Start by downloading and printing my blank ugly sweater templates.

The next step is painting or coloring the sweater. I used Kwik Stix, the best mess-free paint for kids. They're tempera paint sticks that dry in 90 seconds! I highly recommend checking them out if you love to craft with your kids. Kwik Stix is available in sets of 6, 12, 24, and 30.

After painting or coloring, add any embellishments you like. Get creative and have fun with it! This is the best part of the craft because you get to decorate the ugly sweater designs however you want.

When done decorating, cut out the sweater and display it. A great idea is to print multiple templates in a smaller size and turn them into ornaments. If you're a teacher this is a great idea to do the last week of school before winter break.
