When asked by Ubisoft if we’d review the new Just Dance 2014 game, it was greeted with a HECK yes from our family. We love the Just Dance videos and were super excited to see how this new one compared. We made it into a full family affair. My nephews of course convinced me that they were going to dance “WAY BETTER” than me. Little do they know that their Auntie is not only very well knows for her moves but that she is AH-MAZING. =)
Let the challenge begin. First thing that we noticed was that the music selections in Just Dance 2014 was fantastic and a lot of great new hit songs, which we all loved and had fun picking out.
They had fun with YMCA and Blurred Lines. I of course loved Macklamore and Ryan Lewis (showing my skills) =)
My sister even got into the action. She and I appreciated that there were different levels of dance moves that seemed someone less complicated for us “oldies” to figure out. Some of the other features the boys really enjoyed were the ability to dance as characters like a Cowboy and he had pretend guns he was dancing with which proved to be a great character. Our favorite characters were the ghosts in Ghostbusters. Who doesn’t love doing ghost dance moves???
Another really awesome feature is the tokens you collect after each dance. The game allows the ability to save up tokens over time to use to purchase more songs and dances. Who doesn’t love that?
Overall this is a great family fun video game that kept us all entertained and burning calories for hours!
I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a fun new game for this holiday season. If you’re looking for to purchase it you can find it HERE!
