In honor of Fall, the dinner party festivities to come we're teamed up with Crios Wines to bring you a fun and flirty Fall Cocktail perfect for Made with HAPPY Hour or dinner party throughout the season.Crios Wine is a family-owned brand, harvested from specific areas in Mendoza and Salta in Argentina. These two areas are optimal for grapes of the fruit-forward variety.
Over the Summer we were sipping on some pretty fruity kinds of cocktails and while we are certainly not shying away from the fruit on this cocktail, we came up with a great balance using the vibrant one-of-a-kind dry wine of the Crios Rose of Malbec that has some notes of red cherries, strawberries and hints of spice.
Look at life differently is the inspirational message of the wine, and that is certainly what you taste in this Rose of Malbec. Susana Balbo, Argentina’s leading and most innovative winemaker, revolutionized the face of Malbec by taking a classic red wine and imagining something new. It pairs great with chicken and spicy asian foods.
Today we're sharing our new
Pink Pear Wine Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle - Crios Rose of Malbec
- ½ cup Pear Juice
- 2 oz. Grenadine
- 2 thinly sliced pears
Directions:
In a pitcher mix your ingredients together and chill. The longer it chills the better with this.
We are loving the the crisper taste of this pink beauty. If the drink is a bit too dry for your liking, you can easily add a bit more sweet to your cocktail by adding in another ounce of grenadine and ¼ cup of pear juice. Perfecto!
Serve with a slice of pear for the glass and jam the glass full of sliced pears. Fall wouldn't be complete without the crisp flavors of pear. We not only love the taste of this drink, but its pretty too, which is always a plus!
