Summer days can look like many things, but there is one thing adults are most likely dreaming about. Sitting by the pool or ocean with our feet up and a drink in hand.
Thankfully, this shark bite drink with spiced rum can help you easily accomplish just that.
What is great about this Summer cocktail, is that the spiced rum or light rum is not the only thing adding a little "bite." The cute little sharks really do take this delicious drink over the top.
I love the taste of this recipe and with no grenadine, it's just a lemony-fruit punch goodness. You will be sipping away at this tasty cocktail faster than you can change into your swimsuit.

Fill the cup with ice and gummies evenly placed, to make them look like they are swimming.
The shark drink then contains equal parts punch and lemon-lime soda.
Viola, you have your mocktail recipe.

Alternative Shark Cocktail Recipes

If you are looking for more ocean water effect drinks, then you can use blue curacao or blue Gatorade. Add ½ ounce to your recipe.
Others prefer to replace the lemon-lime soda with orange juice, pineapple juice, or sour mix. We like the soda, but it's all a preference.
There are also lots of different alcohols you can add to this shark bite drink recipe to make it a shark attack cocktail. Changing out the vodka for coconut rum, tequila, or flavored vodka like vanilla vodka.
Last but not least, the sharks gummies can absolutely be changed out with Swedish fish, fun shark ice cube trays, or even placing a plastic shark in your glass. We love the idea of making a blue shark out of ice with these trays and
Drink shark bite! Cheers to a great drink and or delicious cocktails!
