We recently had our family come together and here's how we turned what could be a stressful day full of cooking, into a relaxing fun fill day of entertaining.First thing I did when I heard about the get together was head to Walmart. There I grabbed a STOUFFER'S® Party Size Lasagna with Meat & Sauce, some NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® refrigerated cookies dough as well as some chocolate morsels. The lasagna is simple to throw from the freezer right into the oven, while that cooked, the girls were excited to get together and make the group some yummy cookies for the clan and for the cookies and milk bar I was planning for after dinner (YUM). I found these great Rolled & Ready Sugar Cookie Dough Sheets NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE®. They were perfect for our no-fuss (less mess) kind of day, where we're able to simply roll-out and use our cookie cutters to make all kinds of different cookies. We opted for some fun (holiday) star cookies with the hole in the middle to help slip over the milk straws. We also found these super festive Dark Chocolate Peppermint Cookie Dough that are as easy as them come. Break off the square, straight to the pan and into the oven. Lastly, we made some good old fashion chocolate chip cookies with semi-sweet morsels. Made for some fun time for us to catch up and visit as we got the cookies into the oven and added bonus, little to no mess to pick up. WIN! WIN! We simply paired the lasagna with a salad and some galic bread and viola, you have yourself the most perfect last minute holday entertaining meal. Nothing fancy, but delicious and and serves 12. YES! Then it was onto dessert! My favorite part.Using some wrapping paper and ribbon, we decorated milk bottles along with the straw to setup our cookies and milk bar. While at the store, I also found a few festive baked bread cardboard containers that were great for displaying some of our cookies we all made together. You don't have to display a ton of decorations to make your space festive. When everyone's ready for dessert, simply provide a pitcher of milk on the table or serving table and let your guest enjoy. Easy, fun and takes you out of the kitchen and into the action. Which is where you should be, enjoying the time with family and friends. That is definitely made with HAPPY!
