With a name like Diapers-n-Heels, its should be no surprise, that this mama has some thoughts on Diapers. Disposable diapers that is.
For baby #1, GIRL, I found a diapers that worked and stuck to it. On the occasion we would change it up if we had a coupon or if another brand was having a sale, but inevitably we would have blowouts or leaking. So we finally decided it wasn't worth it to change it up and continued to use the same brand up through potty training and that was that.
Baby #2 arrives, BOY, we start out with the same brand we used for baby #1. Didn't take much time to realize this was not the diaper for him. We would have blowout up the back, leaking, and his buns were much more sensitive and not reacting well with our trusty brand. So we switched it up. We have continued to try a few different brands and came to one that seemingly was working. Until recently. We narrowed it down to a few things:
- Increased Summer Heat
- The extra water he was drinking from the heat = extra potty-ing
- He just turned two and has two levels (super spunky or sleeping)
- His sensitive skin was reacting to the diaper
What very well might be the fact is that it was a combination of the four, but regardless we needed to change it up. In walks Luvs. I'd seen them in Walmart but hadn't tried them out, until I saw their commercial "The Clue is in the Blue" which claim to be super absorbency and have night lock. We decided to put them to the test
Super Spunky Kid is always running.
Baby Yoga
Did I mention he loves baby yoga!
Silly Boy!
What I can tell you is that not only did we not have any leaks in these diapers, my baby's buns have completely cleared up with zero sign of irritation in the matter of a day. HUGE! They work!!! Added bonus: they are on the lower end cost, which is always a good thing. If you're looking for a disposable and looking for one especially with those little ones that are super soakers, then I highly recommend try out Luvs Super Absorbent Leakguards
I did mentioned above, but just in case, you can find Luvs at Walmart or on Facebook or Twitter.
Disclosure: Luvs did provide us with the diapers to try, but all leaky opinions are my own
