I get asked on a frequent basis about whether I see a difference between my daughter and my son. To that my answer is always YES. I do see a difference. Now, whether that difference is because one is a girl and one is a boy, that I have no idea. May very well be because one is the first child and the other is the baby, but there is a definite difference.
My daughter, since she was itty-bitty, had the ability to be content by herself sitting down and color or putting a puzzle together. Whereas my son finds his happy place in a more active state. Running around, climbing, and moving from one toy to the next.
That difference between them also translate down to the small things like the diapers we use for each of them. My daughter had a brand that worked great for her and so we ended up not switching it up much after that. When my son came along, within the first couple of weeks, we realized the trusty diaper brand we used wasn't going to work. Since then we have found ourselves bouncing around looking for the right diapers for active babies. His sweet little skin is sensitive and so only using natural products is super important! Something that keeps up with his active nature is also really important. Because even thought he can wear it and not get a booty rash, the kid is a runner and climber and if the waist bands aren't stretchable and forgiving, then he would end up with some serious irritation around the waist and that ends up being as irritating to him as the booty. Not to mention that he ends up tugging on them and halfway through a wear, he ends up trying to get out of them.
Our latest find? Well Beginning Diapers. They are great for all our baby boy's needs. They are super soft both on the inside panel as well as the outside and waist panels. The inside liner is hypoallergenic and contains natural botanical, vitamin E and aloe. LOVE THAT!
For me (mama) I heart that you can get it at your local Walgreens. Convenience all the while taking care of my active son's booty. AWESOME! Definitely worth checking them out!
Have I mentioned he's active yet?? 🙂
