Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt Game
Scavenger hunts are so fun and help kids develop language, social, and cognitive skills. With this Thanksgiving game, kids will have to find the picture cards hidden and mark them off on their record sheets.
It's easy for parents and teachers to set up because all you need to do is print the file, cut out the cards and hide them. That's it! You can hide the cards inside the house, in the yard, playroom, or wherever you like. Use painter's tape to prevent damage to walls and furniture.
If you have a group of kids, consider doing teams and kids can work together. Maybe even add a competitive element and make it a race. The team who finds all their cards first wins!
Another way to use this is with sensory bins. You can laminate the game cards to prevent them from messing up and hide them in a Fall or Thanksgiving-themed sensory bin. Free Printable Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt
Click on the button below to download the FREE printable PDF. It includes 2 pages, the first page is the tracking sheet and the other is the game cards. I suggest printing using card stock paper for sturdier pages.
There are only 9 cards so it's perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary-aged kids. However, you can double the cards and make it so they have to find 2 of each! It makes the game a little more challenging and they can practice matching as well.
To make it even more challenging, print the game card page in a smaller size. The cards will be smaller making them harder to spot. Kids will have to really hunt for them!
