Recently the hubs and I have been talking about wanting to take a family vacation. Realizing how close we are to the end of the year, and the hubs vacation days at work starting to dwindle, the idea turned into a weekend getaway or mini family vacation.
I don't know about you, but we often get caught in the grid of the week and sometimes forget about how much family fun we can have when we get away, even if its for the weekend!
We are very lucky to live in Southern California. There are a ton of different places to choose from depending on the type of getaway. After making a short list of possible adventures, I turn to the hubs and say... "What about heading up to LA and we spend the weekend seeing all the fun tourist attractions?" Which was surprisingly welcomed with a "That could be fun!"

Hollywood Family Vacation
In all the years I lived in Los Angeles, 7 to be exact, sadly I never made time to visit the sites and only saw Hollywood from afar. I just know that going in and seeing all the attractions as a family is going to be so fun. We started down the list of attractions we want to see.
Here is our list so far:
- Hollywood Wax Museum
- Hollywood Walk of Fame
- TLC Chinese Theatre
- El Capitan Theatre
- Hollywood Sign
- Griffith Observatory
