I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to see first hand all the good that is happening through the partnership of Dawn Dish Soap and their 'Dawn Day in the Wildlife partners, the International Bird Rescue and The Marine Mammal Center. Through not only those partners, but hundreds of others, there are nearly 100,000 volunteers serving on a daily basis to save the lives of tens of thousands of animals each year. When there is an oil spill, it is these partners that rely on Dawn to help clean these animals
Today, October 4th, is World Animal Day. If I've said it once, I'll say it again, we at Made with HAPPY love to celebrate and I can't think of a better reason then to celebrate the world's animals. A celebration is exactly what was had earlier this week. The event was hosted by the International Bird Rescue in San Pedro, California.Along with animal advocates, the event brought out some great supporters including Actors Adrian Grenier and Keegan Allen.
They learned and examined, along with Dr. Rebecca Duerr, a California Brown Pelican. So cute!!!!
The incredible part of the event... the release of that California Brown Pelican. So AWESOME!!!
