We are throwing a Beauty and the Beast Party!!! Are you all as excited about Disney’s Beauty and the Beast coming out March 17th as we are? In celebration of the movie, we have teamed up with Evite to bring you a fun Beauty and the Beast Movie Night!
Be sure to check out the 100 more printables for kids like this HAPPY one.
A party just isn’t a party unless you start with invitations, right? What is great about Evite is that they have both free and premium invitations. What I love about the premium invitations is that I’m able to design my own, like this.
Then you type in the email addresses of your guests and viola, it is all handled for you.
Or, you can choose a ready-to-go free invitation from Evite’s new Beauty and the Beast invitation collection, featuring designs inspired by the new live action version of the film.
Invite your guest and gather your headcount. Once you know how many friends will be joining you for Girls Movie Night, it’s time to set up for the pre-movie tea and cupcakes as well as purchase your pre-sale movie tickets. You can purchase them HERE.
If I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again, parties (big or small) do not have to break the bank. I was able to pull this entire setup together all from the dollar store for right around $20. I had a few items at home including the cake plates and tea kettle, and then we made the cupcakes, but really, please don’t let money be the factor when wanting to have some fun with your friends.
For our movie night, we decided that cupcakes and tea (lemonade for the littles) was the perfect pre-movie pairing with Beauty and the Beast. The cupcakes of course are easy enough to make.
We went with a simple yellow frosting and of course a red rose for the top. To make it just a little more special, we decided to make our dollar store terrariums to go over each of the cupcakes topped with a red rose. For these terrariums, you simply need a litter of bottle, some red roses and a pair of scissors. Head here for full directions on the terrariums. We then created a fun printable “Thank You For Being Our Guest” that we were able to add to our party.
We then had a few parting gifts for our guests that they could take with them to the movie theater. We found these great popcorn bags. We filled them each with popcorn and then tied them together using another silk rose. We also found these great red straw cups (at the dollar store).
Simply grab a few boxes of movie candy and some treat bags. Fill each cup with a few different varieties of candy and tape the printable thank you to the front. How fun and festive! Now everyone is ready to go watch Belle and the Beast fall in love!
