Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt
If your family is like mine then you love driving around throughout December to see all the decorated houses. It’s a yearly tradition for us. We make hot cocoa at home, throw on comfy pajamas and drive around the neighborhood to see all the lights. With so many school events, festivals, and local happenings, it’s nice to have some simple and free family fun.
I love this tradition so much that I wanted to elevate it and turn it into a game!
How to Play the Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt Game with Your Family
Start by clicking the button below for the FREE download. Then, print it and take a pen or pencil to mark the items as you see them on your hunt. Laminate the page if you plan on using it year after year and use a dry-erase marker.
One way to play is to print one copy for the whole family and designate one person to mark off the items from the list. You work together to find everything like a team. This is a great option for families with small children or if you're looking for a nice, calm activity.
Another way to play is to print a copy for each member and make it more competitive! You can go around the neighborhood quietly marking off as you see items on your own page. The first person to mark everything off first wins! This is a great option for families with older kids who love to compete with each other.
