Those that know me, know that I am a perpetual bright color person. So it was a no-brainer, that when pulling together DNH Boy's room, it had to be bright. The hubs generously moved aside and let my imagination run wild in this room.
You may remember this picture from his newborn pics:

His framed name was an easy make of wooden letters from Michael's and I made the frame out of canvas stretchers for just a few dollars.
The starting point of the rooms design was based off two essentials, the white crib (hand-me-down from DNH Girl) and the bedding.
We went with this cute modern colorful animal print from Land of Nod
We found this great modern dresser from that doubles as the changing table
As with any child's room, storage is key. We paired this 9 cubed shelf with an old famed mirror we painted the aqua blue.
The white chair was also a something we had in DNH Girl's room and fit in the room perfectly.
The mobile was also a great find! Amy from Lil Sprout Creations was so incredible. I sent her a picture of the bedding and she made the mobile to match the colors.
Last, but certainly not least are these fabulous prints from Jack and Jilly Design. They too matched up the print colors to the bedding and were quick on delivery!
I was very happy with how great the room came out. What do you think?
