Okay, okay, as promised, I'm sharing one of the best trips I've taken in some time! Recently, I spent the weekend with a few of my dearest friends up in Montana.
Have you ever been up to Montana? If you haven't, I highly recommend taking a trip! Girls... Family... However you go, its definitely a must. So much to do and SO MUCH FUN! Our girls weekend trip was full of fun and we even went dog sledding!!
Of course, it is always great spending quality time with your girls!
The first full day we spent exploring some great spots close to the north entrance of Yellowstone. We found beautiful bridges and ran into a pack of roaming buffalo. We of course took all kinds of pictures braving the cold temperatures and wind. Where we were staying, Chico Hot Springs, was all kinds of fabulous too! We spent the afternoon warming up and relaxing in the spa like pools!

The second day we decided we would go dog sledding! Seriously, it was SO COOL!!!!
We had two guides with us for four sleds. They taught us the basics of dog sledding and then we were off. The dogs were unbelievably beautiful and powerful and pulled us approximately 8-10 miles. Of course, that was the day it decided to blizzard and so the temperatures were not for the faint of heart! But it was truly one of those great experiences of a lifetime.
Although, this wasn't my first trip to Montana, it was the first where I was able to soak up only a little of all this great state has to offer. My friend who lives up there told us all about all the great outdoor activities they have during the summer months as well. I can't wait to bring my family up with me next time! We will be back Montana and I hope you all get a chance as well!
