Spring is finally here!! Can you believe it? I have been so ready! The time change has happened and now its time to lay in the grass and watch the flowers bloom!
I absolutely love to decorate the house for Spring… ok, you’ve got, me! I love decorating it for any time of year, but especially Spring. Flowers around the house and all the beautiful bright colors! Ahhh!!! I’ve been wracking my brain about our front door wreath and with Easter happening so early this year, I would barely have it up for week and have to take it down. So something more Spring than Easter will have to do. I recently came Moss Monogrammed Door Sign on the uber-talented Design, Dining + Diapers and thought about making a variation of it for myself.
Maybe it was the “W” calling my name, or simply the fact, I’m OBSESSED with all things monogrammed, but I decided rather than making a plaque, maybe just the letter and make it big!
Here’s how I made it!
- 13″ Wood Letter
- Sheet Moss
- Hot Glue
- Hanging Ribbon
Simply start by rolling out the sheet moss, and with pencil outline the letter. I left approximately a fourth inch out from the actual letter to give room to cover the sizes.
Then its just a matter of cutting the outline. Remove the paper lining and hot gluing the outsides.
